Saweetie to appear in season 2 of “Bel-Air”

Last spring, the highly anticipated “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” spinoff, “Bel-Air,” finally premiered on Peacock. The series went beyond expectations for fans, as this cast was beloved. These include Jabari Banks as Will Smith, Coco Jones as Hillary Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, and Adrian Holmes, as Philip Banks.

However, Bel-Air is returning for season 2, on February 23, to Peacock. There will be even more characters casted, including Saweetie, according to Variety. She will be playing the role of herself. This will be Saweetie’s second major television appearance in a series, as she was previously on “Black-ish.

Saweetie has done very well over the past several years, in securing collaborations outside of music. These include having her own meal at McDonald’s, as well as having her own pair of Crocs.

In November, Saweetie also released her new “The Single Life” EP. This project contained six new songs, as she is preparing to finally release her debut studio album, “Pretty B*tch Music.” The album was initially rumored to be released in the summer of 2021, but didn’t end up being the case.
