Saweetie’s “Best Friend” Single, Featuring Doja Cat, Goes 2x Platinum

Saweetie has had a very solid year for herself, as she’s had more hit records, even more huge collaborations. This includes her “Best Friend” single, featuring Doja Cat, as well as getting her own meal at McDonald’s, and having her own pair of ranch Crocs, with Hidden Valley.

Now, the Bay Area rapper has reached another huge milestone, for her Best Friend single. It has now been certified 2x platinum, in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 2 million units. At the time of its release, in January, it debuted at number 14, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Best Friend is also expected to appear on Saweetie’s debut studio album, “Pretty B*tch Music.” As now now, there is still no official release date. Back in the summer, Saweetie appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” where it was rumored then, that the album would be out on June 25. Her team ended up denying this claim, though.
