Scarface SwayOne of the original rappers to break through from the South is Scarface and he has gone on to become a legend. The music he has put out over the past three decades is amazing. Anyone who ever feels down and out can relate to what Scarface creates.

Scarface helped open doors for an entire genre of hip hop and an entire region. Not only did he help open the door, he also took a seat in the offices, at one point. In the early 2000s, Scarface joined Def Jam as the head of the Southern division.

Sway recently sat down with Scarface for “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45. This interview picks up where his last one left off, as he discussed a family story of fighting his uncle and his grandfather shooting at him. From there, Scarface talked about Tupac, Jay Z, and much more.
