Beyonce has been the most-popular singer in R&B for some time and has crossed over into the pop market. Much like her husband, Jay-Z, her success has landed her a lot of detractors. However, Beyonce has never been arrogant when it comes to her success, but that changed with “Bow Down.”
The drastic changes in her style caught the attention of national mainstream news, with her frequent usage of the word “bitches.” Despite the backlash from the media and the diss from Keyshia Cole, Beyonce is continuing to promote the song. For the remix, she loaded up on Houston rappers, featuring the legendary Scarface.
At the 2013 Paid Dues Festival, Scarface talked to Fuse about the single. The song is the center of much controversy. But, Scarface had more going for himself than Beyonce’s single. Scarface also had a joint album with Beanie Sigel, Mac & Brad, which he told Fuse is not happening.
