After releasing three albums in as many years, Scarface has taken a break from releasing new albums. Scarface recently announced he was working on a new album, his first release in years. One of the longest-running members of Rap-A-Lot Records, Scarface remains with the label and he is now preparing his twelfth album.
Scarface has been discussing the new project via Twitter. There has been a lot of discussion about his new album, but a title has yet to be released. Scarface has been a busy man recently, as he also has a project in the works with Beanie Sigel. Now, Scarface is preparing for the release of his next solo album.
Once again, addressing the public via Twitter, Scarface revealed the title of his twelfth opus, naming the project, Rooted. The title has been revealed and now the wait begins for the actual release of the album. Scarface has yet to announce the release date of the label, but he announced the album for a summer 2012 release.
