Every two years, fans have come to expect ScHoolboy Q to drop a new album. The last time he dropped was 2016, when he delivered Blank Face LP, which boasted “THat Part,” featuring Kanye West. Since then, he has kept a low profile.

TDE has operated in turns, with Jay Rock being the first artist on the label to blow, followed by Kendrick Lamar’s massive success. Then, it was ScHoolboy Q’s turn, followed by Ab-Soul. In between, SZA was signed, and she took 2017 over, and now Jay Rock is back.

Currently, Jay Rock is owning the game, with “King’s Dead,” which was one of 2018’s first hits. Pretty soon, ScHoolboy Q us coming back for his spot, though. The LA rapper was with TDE, performing the NYC date for “The Championship Tour,” where he announced his album drops, this month, after Jay Rock’s Redemption.
