ScHoolboy Q is almost done with his new album, saying it is 90% complete
When Kendrick Lamar took over, in 2012, ScHoolboy Q saw his fanbase rapidly increasing. Anytime he would do an interview, ScHoolboy Q said he would blow Kendrick out the water. His album was initially slated for a 2013 release.
Ultimately, ScHoolboy Q would drop his album in 2014, when he would score a summer anthem. His single, “Studio,” became one of 2014’s biggest hit records. The song, boasting BJ The Chicago Kid on the hook, became a classic.
ScHoolboy Q quickly faded from the spotlight, following his 2014 success. However, he continued working, offering new singles, here and there, and staying on stage. Now, ScHoolboy Q has returned, announcing his new album, which he says is 90% complete.
