In 2014, ScHoolboy Q finally released his major label debut. Following the path of his self-proclaimed idol, 50 Cent, ScHoolboy Q released his album via Interscope Records. It was a busy year for the label, as two of its biggest figures, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, closed a big deal.
Meanwhile, ScHoolboy Q did score a big hit with “Studio,” featuring crooner, BJ The Chicago Kid. The song endeared ScHoolboy Q to mainstream radio, making him a household name. Immediately, he began working on his next album.
ScHoolboy Q had initial plans of releasing his album in 2015, but this ended up not being the case. Instead, ScHoolboy Q will release his album later this year. Last night, via SnapChat, ScHoolboy Q confirmed he was done with his next opus.
