When Kendrick Lamar began to take over the mainstream in 2012, the underground was being taken by ScHoolboy Q. Many were proclaiming him as TDE’s top artist and ScHoolboy Q agreed. He often said his debut album would blow Kendrick Lamar out the water.
However, ScHoolboy Q faced a couple of delays with his album and it did not drop until last year. Undeniably scoring a hit with “Studio,” the rest of the album did not perform as well. But, ScHoolboy Q was given the greenlight to put another album out.
Yesterday, ScHoolboy Q went on Twitter and made hints towards putting another album out. Given the way things have gone, this album could come as soon as Friday. Would ScHoolboy Q become the next artist to drop a surprise album.
