A couple of years ago, ScHoolboy Q made his mainstream debut and took the game over. His single, “Studio,” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid, is a recent classic. Then, his verse on Tinashe’s “Two On” is an unforgettable sixteen.

Because of his 2014 momentum, ScHoolboy Q was expected to come back strong, immediately. After all, he and Kendrick Lamar were the brightest two stars in rap. They received co-signs from Game and Snoop Dogg, leading them to Dr. Dre and the Interscope deal.

With his Blank Face album now out, ScHoolboy Q stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to speak with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. During the interview, he spoke on the new album and how he got the internet to fall for the Crying MJ meme album cover. He would also speak on him no longer wearing his signature bucket hats.
