Last year, ScHoolboy Q finally released Oxymoron, his highly-discussed debut album. Facing delays from its original 2013 release date, the album did well during the summer of 2014. This was when his single, “Studio,” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid emerged.

ScHoolboy Q kept a relatively low profile in the time since he released his debut album. Before the debut album on a major label, ScHoolboy Q did have independent album releases. Since the release of his major label debut, ScHoolboy Q has been working on his follow-up.

Recently, ScHoolboy Q stopped by Real 92.3 and he talked to Big Boy about his rising success. During the interview, ScHoolboy Q talked about how the new album is coming along and his time as principal for a day at a local elementary school. He went onto discuss much more as the interview went on.
