Kendrick Lamar was not the only member of Top Dawg Entertainment who released an album in 2012. Coming after Kendrick Lamar out of the camp is ScHoolboy Q, who released his album last year. Much like Kendrick Lamar’s Section.80 and good kid, m.A.A.d. city, ScHoolboy Q’s Oxymoron LP is expected to meet rave reviews.
Since last year, ScHoolboy Q has been working on the album. Last year, ScHoolboy Q managed to steal the show with Habits & Contradictions. In the middle of working on the album, ScHoolboy Q’s label joined Interscope Records. ScHoolboy Q completed and released his album and began working on Oxymoron.
Recently, MTV News caught up with ScHoolboy Q and he talked about Oxymoron, saying he is working on the singles right now. When asked about features, ScHoolboy Q said he worked with Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar. Other album features include his friends, Danny Brown and A$AP Rocky.
