Top Dawg Entertainment is definitely leading the pack when it comes to the Los Angeles and West Coast hip hop scene. Steadily rising in popularity, Kendrick Lamar has morphed into one of the most-popular rappers in the game. TDE label-mate, ScHoolboy Q is now having similar success.
ScHoolboy Q is a member of Top Dawg Entertainment and he has released two albums through the label, already. Once Kendrick Lamar entered the joint venture deal with Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records expressed interest in adding the entire label to their roster. Now, ScHoolboy Q’s third album will double as his debut.
Recently, ScHoolboy Q was in New York City, where he made his rounds with the media and he woke up at Power 105.1. Talking with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee for “The Breakfast Club,” ScHoolboy Q held an interesting conversation. The TDE emcee spoke on his S.O.B.’s show and Oxymoron.
