A new web series beginning to make its mark on the internet comes straight from Brownsville, Brooklyn. Created by local Brownsville filmmaker, Bobby Ashley, “The Ave” is a series that separates itself from all others. The show centers around the drama that goes on in the city.
“The Ave” stars Brett Puryear, Nelcie Souffrant, Krystal Garner, Shaniqua West, Zae Diggs, Reggie Beneche, Steven Fernandez, Alee Chery, Shumeria Harris and Guyviaud Joseph. It all centers around a man going through struggles to navigate life. Oh, and it’s action packed.
Over the past few months, “The Ave” has built a cult following online and now the show is getting another look. For all of those who missed the first season, they can catch it here on Hip Hop Vibe. Season one of “The Ave” will air on Hip Hop Vibe as an HHV Original.
“The Ave” is produced by Mical Milus and Jamal Curtis Jones.
