The 2016 election cycle showed just how flawed the system was and how frustrated people are by it. Since the new administration has taken place, it has shown how far things have to come. But, the bright side of this are the new politicians who have risen to the forefront.
Election night 2016 saw Kamala Harris elected to the US Senate, representing California. From the moment she was elected, many people have touted her as a presidential candidate. While she hasn’t spoken on the presidency, she has gained national attention.
Kamala Harris visited “The Breakfast Club,” having a conversation about politics with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. In the interview, she started by speaking on education, and the marijuana debate. She went onto discuss gun control and why debates are important.
