VH1 has brought a new element to hip hop with their “Love & Hip Hop” franchise. This new series gave new attention to Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Lil’ Scrappy, Stevie J, Yung Joc, Benzino, Joe Budden, and now Ray J, Yung Berg, Soulja Boy, and Omarion. Along with this, the show has helped many models and aspiring artists become household names.
The success of “Love & Hip Hop” led to “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” and the breakout success of the latter led to “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” Now, the world will get a chance to be reintroduced to Ray J, Omarion, Soulja Boy, and Yung Berg. In addition to this, they also get to meet the women in their lives.
September 15 is the official premiere date for “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” but VH1 decided to leak the first episode online, early. Such names as Teairra Mari are also returning, along with new names like Amanda Secor, Nia Riley, Masika Kalysha, Nikki Mudarris, being introduced on a mainstream level.
