It’s no secret the past couple of years have been tough on Lamar Odom, but he was an NBA fan favorite before that. A bit of a league journeyman, Lamar Odom found a home with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning titles. He was a part of the legendary Shaquille O’Neal trade.
Lamar Odom became the talk of the NBA, in 2009, when he was rumored to sign with the Miami Heat after his first title. This was the same summer when he married Khloe Kardashian. They made it work for four years, but his trade to Dallas is where it went downhill.
Following a brief return to the Los Angeles Clippers, Lamar Odom eventually left the NBA. Yesterday, he was found in a Las Vegas brothel, clinging onto his life. Now, the fans on Twitter are in a frenzy, wondering if he is dead or alive, following R.I.P. posts from J.R. Smith and Lil Wayne.
