Sexyy Red bashes Joe Budden for take about her Drake friendship

Over the weekend, Joe Budden took to his podcast to make an interesting claim about Sexyy Red and Drake’s friendship. He believes that Drake is getting paid to promote Sexyy, due to him frequently hanging out with her. Moreover, Drake also featured Sexyy on his “Rich Baby Daddy” single with SZA, on his “For All The Dogs” album. Drake even purchased Sexyy various luxurious hand bags. Furthermore, Budden asked “You think Drake just likes being around Sexyy Red that much?”

Meanwhile, Sexyy Red is now responding to Joe Budden’s theory about her friendship with Drake. She went on to reply on Twitter/X on Sunday, as she said “They so dumb.”

Drake, Sexyy Red, and SZA had one of the biggest records of the year to close out 2023, with Rich Baby Daddy. This went on to peak at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the music video is at over 16 million views on YouTube. The video was a very interesting one, as Sexyy is seen reenacting her birth. The breakout St. Louis rapper went on to unveil that this was shot a few days after giving birth, as Drake and SZA were both in this hospital scene.

Sexyy is also now currently buzzing for her new “Get It Sexyy” single, which was released last month. It debuted at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, which is her highest-charting solo single. Moreover, the video for it was released last week, and featured cameos from Soulja Boy, Drake, and Fabo.
