Sha Money blasts Steve Stoute on Instagram for discrediting 50 Cent on Hot 97 [PHOTOS]

Last week, Steve Stoute made his rounds promoting the VH1 premiere of his insightful documentary, “The Tanning of America.” The series came about three years ago and it documents hip hop’s impact on pop culture. But, personal issues ended up impacting Steve Stoute’s media run.

When he visited Hot 97, Steve Stoute ended up discussing the rappers who have had the biggest impact on the game. Among the artists brought up in the conversation was 50 Cent and Steve Stoute had nothing nice to say about him. His comments prompted 50 Cent to approach him at the Knicks game.

Sha Money XL helped 50 Cent emerge from the mixtape scene to become the star he was from 2003 through 2006. During that period, 50 Cent was undoubtedly the biggest impacting star in hip hop and his brand equity was high. Steve Stoute didn’t see it that way and Sha Money XL called him on it with his #FlashbackFridays Instagram posts.
