Four years ago, it was revealed that Shad Moss (then going by Bow Wow) was a father. He did not claim his child right away and the mother of his child, Joie Chavis, a video vixen, took to the media to get his attention. Soon, Shad Moss became an active part of his daughter’s life.
Often, Shad Moss is talking about being a father and explaining the relationship he has with Joie Chavis. While this relationship is important and obviously had to be one of his favorites at one point, Shad Moss is now more focused on Erica Mena. The two have sniffed around each other since February and they are now getting married.
Joie Chavis says this was the beginning of the end of Shad Moss being a consistent father in their child’s life. She said Shad Moss stopped being a primary presence once he began dating Erica Mena. Chavis went on to cite how often Shad Moss and Erica Mena come to Los Angeles and they never come to see the child.
