Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a rising star in the NBA and he’s making major noise. He is putting the Oklahoma City Thunder back on the map. The Thunder have struggled mightily, since Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook left the team. In 2020, the Thunder made a surprise playoff run, when Chris Paul joined the team, and formed a duo with SGA. Since then, SGA has continued to rise as a star. At Summer League, he was present to support his young guys. However, all the fans noticed were his boots.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spent his rookie year with the LA Clippers. However, he has made his name with the Thunder. Over the past few years, SGA has put the Thunder back on the map. Their 2023 season saw a phenomenal jump. First of all, SGA put the league on notice, averaging 31 points per game. In addition, he led the Thunder to a respectable 40 win season, going 40-42. That was good enough for the play-in, where they took a blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is confident in the future of the Thunder. In addition, he is confident in his own abilities. That said, SGA was courtside watching the Thunder in Las Vegas, during Summer League. The young guys are getting some burn and SGA was watching. When he was photographed, it turns out, the people are watching him. Rocking some Timberland boots, people have had a lot to say about them. The shine he has on the boots has them looking like glazed doughnuts.
