Shakur Stevenson proposes to Young Lyric after boxing win in Las Vegas
Shakur Stevenson continues to be one of the biggest rising stars, in boxing. On Saturday night, Stevenson had his next fight, vs Oscar Valdez, in Las Vegas. Stevenson scored this victory, after a unanimous decision, and a dominant performance. Stevenson’s pro boxing record now improves to 18-0. This win earned even more respect from the boxing world, towards Stevenson, as he is still only 24-years-old.
Following Stevenson’s fight, he surprised everyone, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. His girlfriend/baby mama Young Lyric was in the ring with him, and he soon decided to propose to her. Lyric happily accepted the proposal. This also comes six months after Lyric gave birth to their first child.
Lyric and Stevenson began dating in early 2021, and immediately fell in love. Lyric originally soared to fame on social media, due to her music in the Houston hip-hop scene. Last October, she also put out her new “Busy Right Now” single, featuring Slim Jxmmi.
In late 2019, Lyric also made headlines then, for dating NBA Youngboy. Shakur Stevenson appears to be the one she wants to settle down forever with though, especially after this engagement.
