Shannon Sharpe is the most popular man in the world, right now. He has Katt Williams to thank for this and he may have changed how interviews are done. Too many of these podcast hosts end up cutting off their guest, when they’re talking. Very simply, Shannon Sharpe let Katt Williams speak his mind. As a result, their conversation has 34 million views. Apparently, Shay Shay has dealt with some hate. So, he did an episode of his “Nitecap,” with Chad Johnson, where he talked to the haters.

Shannon Sharpe originally was an NFL player and a Super Bowl champion. After retirement, like many athletes, he got into commentary. In 2016, his popularity saw a boost, when Skip Bayless left his longtime position at “First Take” to join Sharpe at Fox Sports. The fallout with Skip and Stephen A. Smith gave Sharpe another level of stardom. As a result, he used it to create “Club Shay Shay,” which was already popular.

Shannon Sharpe left “Undisputed,” with Skip Bayless, in 2023. He left to focus more on “Club Shay Shay,” but he also joined Stephen A. Smith at “First Take.” In addition, he launched a companion podcast to “Club Shay Shay,” with Chad Johnson. It’s called “Nitecap” and Gilbert Arenas is also on the show. After so much commentary surrounding his Katt Williams interview, Shannon Sharpe spoke on the haters, during a “Nitecap” episode. Chad Johnson served as the hype man.
