In 1996, Shaquille O’Neal shocked the sports world, when he decided to leave the Orlando Magic to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. It was with the Lakers, where Shaq spent the bulk of his career, and there where he and Kobe Bryant bonded. These two are forever tied.
Shaq was the reaction the world was waiting for, when the sad news about Kobe Bryant dying hit. Heartbroken, Shaq offered his condolences, on Twitter. Tonight, the NBA was back, on TNT, and this was Shaq’s chance to properly speak on his brother.
Much like the rest of the world, Shaquille O’Neal was still heartbroken, speaking on Kobe Bryant’s death. When he spoke, he couldn’t hold back the tears, expressing his regret of their last conversation being the interview, before his retirement game, where Kobe scored 60 points, a NBA record. But, Shaq said losing Kobe was losing his little brother, as he offered condolences to the Bryant family, and the families of the other victims.
