Chad Johnson and Sharelle Rosado get engaged
Former NFL star Chad Johnson and “Selling Tampa” star Sharelle Rosada have been together for a while now, as they welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in January 2022. Now, the two are taking their relationship to even bigger heights.
According to People, Johnson proposed to Rosada, on Saturday night. Rosada was reportedly gifted an oval cut, 7 1/2 carat engagement ring. This event was supposed to be an early birthday party for Johnson (January 9,) in his hometown of Miami, as 20 guests were in attendance to hide and surprise her.
“I’m honestly shocked! I’m at a loss for words,” said Rosada to People, after the engagement. “This was absolutely beautiful and to see my family and friends here to celebrate our love, that really did it for me. Chad must have kept this completely a secret because I had no idea! He is definitely not a planner, so for him to pull this off for me is so amazing. Just the thought he put into this and having our family and friends here to witness says a lot.”
Rosada also explained how Johnson’s initial plans all along, were to make her his wife. She added that they plan to get married somewhere in the Bahamas, and have the Valley Boys Junkanoo. The two have a special heart for the Bahamas, due to celebrating their daughter’s first birthday there.
Rosada initially joined the Selling Tampa cast, in 2021. She quickly grew into a fan-favorite realtor, especially from other women on social media. Johnson played in the NFL from 2001-2012, as the was one of the most dominant wide receivers. He spent most of his time as a star with the Bengals, from 2001-2010.
