Longtime NBA fans know all about the rollercoaster of a career that Shaun Livingston has had. In the end, he right on target with the projections, however. Ten years deep in the league and he is leading a team to a victory in the NBA Finals.
Of course, the Golden State Warriors are led by Steph Curry, the back-to-back two time MVP. Backing him up is Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, but they all had off nights. Certainly, Cavaliers’ LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love having on nights impacted.
But, it was in the cards for a Golden State win, tonight, and Shaun Livingston brought it home. Teaming up with Leandro Barbosa, Livingston scored twenty points and powered the Warriors to a 104-89 victory, with the team leading Cleveland 1-0, as they did last year. The fans on Twitter are giving Livingston, the unsung hero, all of the praise.
