Shaun Livingston Warriors Game 1The mantra for the Golden State Warriors is “Strength In Numbers,” which they lived up to. Following a grueling series in the Conference Finals against the Thunder, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson came out flat. But, the rest of the team stepped up and the Warriors won.

All season long, the Golden State Warriors have played with history in mind. Setting an NBA record with a 24-0 start, the Warriors eventually finished 73-9. Besting the Bulls for the top all-time NBA record, the pressure was on for them to win the NBA title.

Unfortunately, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson could not get it going, although they did seal the win late in the game. A great game, overall, the Warriors and the Cavs gave the NBA Finals its most-viewed Game 1 ever for ABC at 19.1 million viewers.
