It seems as if nowhere is safe, anymore. People seem to be willing to do anything to hurt another person. Times like these are enough to make anyone wonder what’s going on with the world. In Atlanta, there always seems to be a lot going on. While people are flocking there as an entertainment destination, there are tons of reports about high crime rates. Recently a gas station became ground zero of a shootout.
In the world of politics, there is a huge debate about weapons. On one side of the political aisle, there are politicians who are in favor of people having access to all kinds of weapons. Then, on the other side of the same political aisle, other politicians want to strip people of all weapons. Because neither side is willing to compromise, the citizens continue to hurt each other with weapons.
Recently a video went viral of a gas station in Atlanta. While some uninvolved people were pumping their gas, shots rang out. The innocent people ducked for cover, as they tried to enter their vehicles. But the ones involved quickly took over the gas pumps. That situation, alone, was highly dangerous and could’ve led to something else. If a gas pump got shot, an explosion could’ve claimed many lives.
