Shy Glizzy denies that he threatened girlfriend with gun
Over the weekend, it was reported by TMZ, that Shy Glizzy was arrested in Los Angeles, after allegedly threatening his girlfriend with a gun, due to an argument. This woman is also said to be someone that the Washington, D.C. rapper has been on-and-off with, over the past four months.
As a result, Glizzy left the scene, but was arrested hours later. Therefore, he was charged with a felony of making criminal threats.
Furthermore, Glizzy was eventually released as a result of posting $50,000 bond. According to TMZ, a restraining order is also in place, as their recent breakup was on April 28, due to anger issues. Glizzy supposedly also threatened his GF if she dates any other man in the future. He added that he’d kill her and her mother, as well.
Now, Glizzy is finally speaking out about the alleged incident. Here, he is denying that he ever threatened his girlfriend with a gun.
“The accusations made against me are completely false,” Glizzy said in his Instagram stories. “I would never in my life pull a weapon or harm a female in any way so stop with the BS allegations! What is wrong with ppl?”
Meanwhile, Glizzy began to gain a buzz again, after finally releasing the video to his 2014 breakout “White Girl” single, in December. It also soon went platinum. In February, he also put out his new “Flowers” album, in February. Glizzy collaborated with Chris Brown, 21 Savage, NBA Youngboy, and EST Gee on it.
