Shyhiem arrested and held on $10,000 bail

Best-known to the hip hop world for his affiliation with the Wu-Tang Clan, Shyhiem has a cult following. While he has a large following, most of it comes from New York City, as he never gained much mainstream attention. But, in the age of the internet, Shyhiem has released tracks that gained attention from the hip hop world.

Unless Shyhiem has stocked up on music, there will not be much music coming from him until much later. All of this is due to Shyhiem getting caught up in a bit of legal trouble, which is a consistent with rappers. Police officers in Staten Island raided Shyhiem’s apartment and found a revolver and heroin, among other drugs.

Arrested after the raid, Shyhiem was sent to jail last week. With his arraignment held this past weekend, on Saturday, Shyhiem was arraigned at Stapleton Criminal Court. He is presently being held in jail under a $10,000 bond. Shyhiem joins Ja Rule, B.G., Lil’ Boosie, Gucci Mane, and Young Scooter as rappers behind bars.
