Sidney Poitier, alongside the likes of Harry Belafonte helped open doors for black people in entertainment. Now, this is a field where the black community dominates. If not for the efforts of Poitier, there would be no Jay-Z, among others.
This morning, there was sad news about Sidney Poitier. Reports of his death began to surface, leaving fans heartbroken. There have been rumors of the 94-year-old having some health battles.
