Silk Sonic’s “An Evening With Silk Sonic” Album, Debuts at Number Two, on Billboard 200 Chart

Earlier this year, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak formed their own group, “Silk Sonic.” In March, they put out their first single, “Leave The Door Open,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Silk Sonic has since released two more singles, in “Skate” and “Smokin’ Out The Window.”

On November 12, the duo released their first album, “An Evening With Silk Sonic.” This project was expected to go number one, but that position is being held by Taylor Swift’s rereleased “Red (Taylor’s Version),” with 596,000 units, in its first week. For Silk Sonic though, they still had a strong debut.

According to Chart Data, An Evening With Silk Sonic has debuted at number two, with 104,000 units. This album contains nine songs, with appearances from Thundercat and Bootsy Collins.
