Given his string of success in 2011, it was easy to predict 2012 would be much better for Kendrick Lamar. While he has established himself in the public eye and is on the verge of superstardom, Kendrick Lamar has several artists associated with him who he intends to introduce to the public. Among those names are his label-mate, Alori Joh.

Kendrick Lamar is known for working with Dr. Dre, Game, and other industry insiders, he is signed to the independent label, Top Dawg Entertainment. Alori Joh is also signed to the label and has been collaborating with Kendrick Lamar. Last year, Alori Joh played a major role in Kendrick Lamar’s breakthrough album, Section.80.

As he is preparing to release his official debut album, Kendrick Lamar again wanted Alori Joh to play a big part on his album. However, she will not have the chance to, as several Top Dawg artists have revealed she has died. Last year, she released her Love Religion album and she has worked with ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul.

Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q took to their Twitters to send their condolences to Alori Joh.
