Long before Stevie J and Joseline ran VH1, New York was the female face of the network. Through her various programs, her mother, Sister Patterson, took the spotlight. During the final years of the Celebreality era of 2006-2010, New York played a big role.
However, New York faded from the spotlight as “Love & Hip Hop” became a franchise, along with “Basketball Wives.” Now, VH1 has revisited their earlier era. New York and Sister Patterson are on the new season of “Family Therapy” with Dr. Jenn.
Last week ended with Sister Patterson going off on Dr. Jenn for having a group therapy. This led to Sister Patterson going off on everything and it spilled over into tonight’s episode. The fans on Twitter are going off, right now, about the situation and are accusing Sister Patterson of being crazy and overreacting to get her own show.
