In this #HereTheyCome era of Philadelphia 76ers basketball, fans know this team for being led by Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. This season, the team added Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris. Seeing how the Sixers won 52 games, last year, most felt this made them title contenders.

Instead, the Sixers finished with only 51 wins, but people still felt this year’s team was the better team. Finishing third in the East, for the second straight season, the Sixers got home court advantage. The team drew the Brooklyn Nets and some felt could get competitive.

In Game 1, the Sixers have been dominated by the Brooklyn Nets, led by D’Angelo Russell’s breakout play. Going up by 17 points, the Nets nearly lost it, behind Jimmy Butler closing the gap to 2, but at the end of the 3rd, the Nets got it back up to 11, leading to the boos. In the 4th, the boos continue, as Twitter is going in on all the Sixers, except Jimmy Butler.
