Every year, Atlanta produces a breakout artist that people wonder where they came from. But, these rappers in Atlanta are grinding and doing their thing, flying under the radar for the most part. Take Slice 9 for an example, he was working with Hustle Gang members, B.o.B. and Young Dro last year.

Over a year ago, Slice 9 talked to Hip Hop Vibe about some of the work he ended up doing for Snoop Dogg. As a member of Future’s Freebandz Gang, Slice 9 is around a lot of heavy-hitters anyway, but his work is not limited to the camp. This past year, Slice 9 has kept his focus on his own work more than anything else.

Slice 9 has promoted his new mixtape, Slice Don’t Do It: The Myth, for the past few months on Twitter and Instagram. The mixtape will feature appearances from Youhg Thug, Casino, and many more. As the promotion begins, Slice 9 has less than a month to get people ready, with December 14 being the release date.
