Slim Jxmmi’s girlfriend denies battery and says they only had loud arguing

This afternoon, Slim Jxmmi began trending, as there were reports of his arrest. According to TMZ, the Rae Sremmurd rapper was arrested for battery of his girlfriend, Kee. A year ago, nearly to the day, Kee gave birth to Slim Jxmmi’s child, and they are planning the first birthday party.

In 2014, Slim Jxmmi rose to fame as one half of Rae Sremmurd. The brotherly duo had the hit of the summer, with “No Flex Zone,” and they had their major 2015 single, “Throw Sum Mo.” On that record, Rae Sremmurd featured Nicki Minaj and Young Thug.

Since 2018, Rae Sremmurd has been effectively on hiatus. In the case of Slim Jxmmi, he has focused on building his family. For some time, he and Kee have been dating. The couple gave birth to their child, last year, on January 28. Slim Jxmmi and Kee were planning for their child’s birthday. Instead of a birthday party, Slim Jxmmi wound up arrested. Reports accused Slim Jxmmi of assaulting his girlfriend and even pulling her hair. But, it is Kee who is speaking out, calling out Dade County for lying. Kee said she told them she and Slim Jxmmi only argued.
