Snoop Dogg ends longstanding feud with Suge Knight, parties with him in Los Angeles

Long ago, Snoop Dogg abandoned his “gangsta” persona. When the hip hop world was introduced to Snoop Dogg, he was a member of Death Row Records. Presented as Dr. Dre’s record label, post-Ruthless Records, the label hit the ground running. No label in history opened with as many multi-platinum albums.

However, growing too fast with young men at the helm led to Death Row Records collapsing under its own weight. Dr. Dre left the label in 1996, Tupac Shakur died in 1996, and Snoop Dogg began feeling uncomfortable at the label. Once his contract expired in 1998, Snoop Dogg left and headed to No Limit Records, starting a longtime feud with Suge Knight.

At several awards shows, Snoop Dogg has come close to coming to blows with Suge Knight. It was clear the two would never reconcile. As each year goes by, Snoop Dogg becomes more and more easygoing. Recently, Snoop Dogg showed his growth at a Los Angeles nightclub when he partied with his former label boss.
