Unlikely when he debuted, well over twenty four years ago, but Snoop Dogg is likely the most mainstream rapper in the game. His softer turn and work with Pharrell definitely helped make this transition. Along with this has come some previously unlikely friends.
Snoop Dogg, being a celebrity, was one of the many celebrity friends of former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although it’s unclear if he voted for him or not, Snoop Dogg gave Arnold his props. It looks like that won’t happen again, any time soon.
Last night, Snoop Dogg shared a video on Instagram, where he lit into the former governor. At the end of each run, a political official, such as governor or president, has the chance to pardon inmates. Most exercise this right, as did Schwarzenegger, as he let off Esteban Nunez after he served only half his sentence, but let Stanley “Tookie” Williams remain behind bars.
