Snoop Dogg talks gay rappers with Hot 97’s “The Realness” [VIDEO]

Going on years, now, there have been a lot people coming forward talking about a gay rapper, or rapper(s) in the game. Several of the biggest rappers in the game, including Fat Joe and N.O.R.E. have mentioned working with a gay rapper. But, due to friendships, they decided not to reveal them.

Hip hop, until recently, was known for using gay slurs, throwing them around like it’s nothing. Over the years, Queen Latifah and MC Lyte (last year by Tyler, the Creator) were called closeted lesbians. But, hip hop has become more tolerant of homosexuality through this new generation, including A$AP Rocky and Macklemore.

Snoop Dogg has also done a complete reversal on the topic in his older years. In recent interview, Snoop Dogg talked about his stance on gay rappers. While Snoop Dogg feels it is only the content that matters, he feels gay rappers will never get a fair shake in hip hop. Earlier today, Snoop Dogg discussed this with Hot 97’s “The Realness.”
