When “The Wire” became a hit, on HBO, not only did it show gritty street culture, it also showed Baltimore culture. This is where Snoop became known and she has a thick Baltimore accent. Last year saw her debut on “Love & Hip Hop,” bringing J. Adrienne with her.
It turned out, J. Adrienne was a VH1 veteran, having originally been known as “So Hood” on “Real Chance of Love.” However, she returned finding love with a woman. She was more than willing to fight for Snoop, even if she had to fight Snoop, leading to their breakup.
Snoop is back for season eight and she has more Baltimore with her, in the form of Lil’ Mo. Currently, Lil’ Mo is grappling with rumors of her husband cheating on her. When Snoop came to Karl’s defense, she said he was a “good dude (dewd),” which had “Love & Hip Hop” fans chattering.
