Since his last radio hit, Soulja Boy has seen his popularity dwindle. He enjoyed a revival of his career successes, when the game took up primary residence online. But, now, Soulja Boy is seeing the biggest backlash of his career.
To begin 2017, Soulja Boy began beefing with Chris Brown. According to Soulja Boy, it is over Karrueche, but Chris Brown said he doesn’t even know what Soulja is talking about. Still, he agreed to a boxing match, where he is backed by 50 Cent and trained by Mike Tyson.
Soulja Boy, outside of all the drama, gave North Carolina a shout out, last night. The trolls wasted no time getting in line, as a Twitter account claiming to represent North Carolina told Soulja Boy they didn’t want his shout out and to try South Carolina. A trend quickly began of states all rejecting a Soulja Boy shout out.
