While Soulja Boy definitely had no contest to having 2018’s biggest comeback, 2019 has shown him with potential. The SODMG rapper managed to get back in the headlines, first with his “Breakfast Club” interview. Then, he began getting back on his grind, with the music.
Soulja Boy released a new song every day and he still has, in addition to doing “Marriage Boot Camp.” On that show, he and Nia Riley had a reunion that most would like to forget. Since then, he moved on with a few women, including Blac Chyna, which most would like to forget.
Now, Soulja Boy is seeing all the work he put into 2019 being successful falling to the wayside. This afternoon, Soulja Boy was sentenced to eight months in jail, which is the remainder of this year, which is still early. This is over him not doing his court-ordered community service, but falsifying evidence to make it seem as though he did, and also being caught in possession of firearms by the police.
