Soulja Boy says Kanye West pushed him to “another level,” on “Donda 2”

Soulja Boy says Kanye West pushed him to new level on Donda 2

Last week, Kanye West finally released his highly anticipated “Donda 2” album. This project was released exclusively on his “Stem Player” streaming platform. Ye explained that he didn’t want to put Donda 2 on regular streaming platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify, due to artists not making enough revenue, from those streams.

Soulja also appeared on the song “First Time In A Long Time,” on Donda 2. This comes after he was scrapped off of Donda 1 last year, due to Kanye not feeling his verse. Ye confirmed that opinion, during a “Drink Champs” interview. This eventually led to Soulja calling Ye out on Instagram, for that move. Kanye eventually texted Soulja, to apologize, and admitted that he should’ve let Soulja know, that he didn’t plan to use the verse.

Soulja ended up calling Kanye out again, before Donda 2 was released, to let him know that Pete Davidson took his woman. Now, the two are all good, as Soulja is letting Kanye know on Twitter, that he is grateful for the opportunity, to be on this album.

“Kanye pushed me to another level on Donda 2. We need to collab more he inspiring.”

A Kanye and Soulja Boy collab was definitely unexpected, but fans are feeling the track that they put out.
