Now, more than any other time in history, fans are able to interact with their favorite entertainers easier and more frequently than ever. This has been made possible through Twitter interactions and now fans have the chance to see their favorite stars as normal people. Despite their time in the spotlight, everyone in entertainment is a real person.
Hip hop may not have been this interactive on the internet had it not been for Soulja Boy using MySpace to launch his rap career. What Master P did in the streets with his music is what Soulja Boy did on the internet and now everyone is doing it. Seven years later, Soulja Boy is still using the internet to release music and interact with his fans.
Soulja Boy also has interactions with fellow stars. Only days after Tahiry Jose uploaded screen shots of her texts with Joe Budden, Soulja Boy does something similar. The difference is that Soulja Boy did not give up any information. Taking a break from the promotion of his U$A Dre mixtape, Soulja Boy uploaded text messages from Lil Wayne, Trina, and Arab, among others.
