Many users on Instagram have been able to attach music via Apple Music to their stories on Instagram and now SoundCloud wants in on the action. The music streaming service announced that this function will apply with them also.
All music listeners need to do is download the SoundCloud app and then when they see a particular track they like, they then hit “Share to Instagram Stories.” Viewers who watch the story with the track playing can then tap on “Play on SoundCloud” and it will redirect them to that app.
Users on Instagram and SoundCloud will be able to utilize this function starting today. More ways are being revealed to utilize music streaming and they will all benefit artists long-term to be able to make money. The Instagram-SoundCloud collab helps indepedendent artists even more now in regards to bringing awareness to their music and generating a buzz.
