Spidey Mayweather is a well-known rapper in Milwaukee. On the local scene, Spidey Mayweather is a legend. A few years ago, Spidey Mayweather dropped a song called “Goat,” which became an anthem. Lakeyah emerged a few years later, and signed with Quality Control Music.

Spidey Mayweather watched as Lakeyah put Milwaukee hip hop on the map. Lakeyah did so with her single, “Female Goat,” featuring City Girls. The song is not even a sample, it is a direct replica of Spidey Mayweather’s song. A year after its release, Spidey Mayweather is speaking out.

Spidey Mayweather came after Lakeyah in a pair of Instagram posts. In his posts, Spidey Mayweather accuses Lakeyah of stealing his bars and his flow. It almost feels as if Lakeyah rubs this in, as she confidently drops her bars on the record. But, Spidey Mayweather shared his version of the song in comparison to hers. At least in the original version, Lakeyah did drop a line dedicated to Spidey. However, when Lakeyah dropped the official version with City Girls, even Spidey’s reference was removed. As a result, he took to social media to set the record straight.
