“Empire” triumphantly returned to television this week and the debut numbers are strong. Clearly, Lee Daniels is onto something with this show. Last week, brought the star power, as Lucious (Terrence Howard) proved he is clearly a boss of all bosses.
Cameos from Al Sharpton, Swizz Beatz, Chris Rock, and Miss Lawrence laced this week’s episode of “Empire.” Meanwhile, social media is still buzzing about Anika (Grace Gealey) twerking. Her twerking and sexing Mimi (Marisa Tomei) at Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) behest was not enough.
It seems Lucious, with the help of Jamal (Jussie Smollett) is firmly in control of Empire from behind bars. However, each character has a new gameplan to get exactly what they want. Hip Hop Vibe has compiled a list of spoilers for next week’s episode to guide fans into next week’s episode.
