Spotify honors XXXTentacion with his own playlist, weeks after they removed his music for “hateful conduct,” in the wake of his death, and Twitter cancels them, calling the company “full of sh*t” and telling them to keep the same energy, instead of profiting off his death [PHOTO]

A few weeks ago, XXXTentacion and R. Kelly saw their music removed from Spotify playlists. The company changed their policy stance on “hateful conduct” and cited this to remove those artists. People immediately spoke out and 50 Cent called them out.

50 Cent’s reasoning was that neither X nor R. Kelly were convicted of their allegations. However, R. Kelly saw a significant bump in his streaming numbers. On the other hand, XXXTentacion saw a sharp decline, until he was reinserted in the playlists.

XXXTentacion died, yesterday, after being shot in Miami. Now, Spotify has willingly added his music back to their playlists. The fans on Twitter are not having it, calling Spotify out for their hypocrisy, as they just removed his music, and they have said Spotify should keep the same energy.
