This Rockets/Spurs series is becoming an interesting one to watch. No question, the favorite is still the Wizards and the Celtics, even though everybody knows the Cavs are winning the East. Out West, it’s a different type of animal, though.
The San Antonio Spurs entered this season with Kawhi Leonard officially the franchise player, as Tim Duncan retired. But, Leonard led the Spurs to their second straight 60 win season, a franchise first. In the playoffs, though, the Spurs have had struggles.
When the playoffs started, the Grizzlies pushed them to six games. In this series with Houston, the Spurs lost Game 1 in a home blowout, which had fans counting them out. Only thing is that Kawhi Leonard wasn’t done, even if Tony Parker is, and his performance has Twitter singing a different tune, which is Spurs in 6.
